Booster Pack Melee

		- A Melee Template for X-Wing Alliance -
			  by Michael Tolle

Intructions:

To be able to use this melee mission all of the participating players
must modify their XWA games on their hard drives. The following
procedure will unlock the hidden ships Booster Pack and Star Viper and
will enable you to fly them in your game.

1. Find the shiplist file (Notepad document) in your XWA folder.
2. Look for the lines that say "Booster Pack" and "Star Viper."
3. Remove the * from the begining of these lines.
4. Save the document and exit the folder.
5. You are now ready for play.

NOTE: I got this tip of the Datamaster's website.

Objectives:

This is a melee designed for 2-8 players. In this melee everyone flys
a Booster Pack ship. These ships have no lasers, no shields, and no
missiles. But they are equiped with a tractor beam and 7 flares. The
objective is to kill your opponents by either ramming them or shooting
flares at them. Because the Booster Pack is not equipped with shields 1
flare will be able to destroy a Booster Pack. This melee will teach
the mastery of using flares against oncoming craft. Have fun and good
luck!
